Mere hours into its first day of showing, the movie has grossed nearly P13 million, with long queues of AlDub fans at the cinemas.

AlDub Nation made sure that the phenomenal love team's first headlining movie is a box-office hit.

The movie has grossed P5,845,544 in Metro Manila and P7,020,889 in provinces, for a total gross of P12,866,433, according to figures released by APT Entertainment, the film's producer, as of 6pm today and still counting.

A group of AlDub fans even organized block screenings at four cinemas at Robinsons Magnolia on Wednesday in cooperation with the GMA Kapuso Foundation, with proceeds of ticket sales going to charitable institutions.

Alden Richards made an appearance for the fans, who had a blast meeting their favorite leading man.
